Literago Launch Party
Date: June 22nd
Time: 8pm - 12am
Location: The Halfway House (1539 N. Damen)
The flier below is an example of what happens when we do things independently of our designer, the beatific Nicole Balch. Don’t let it dissuade you from coming to our party. We will rock you, Chicago.

Whoo! You rocked Chicago!!
It was hard to find and pretty exclusive. We got there around 9pm. And we waited with another person who was trying to get up there. We rang the doorbell and no one came for about 5 min. Then a guy with a key let us in from below. Wasn’t it supposed to be free? We were asked to pay $5 each.
Hi, Robin. Unfortunately, the party was erroneously listed as free in a couple places. Because of legalities, we were unable to advertise cover, but we certainly never said it was free. We paid for everything out of pocket, and we needed the cover to, er, cover our own expenses.
As for your issues with waiting - that’s loft parties for you. Not sure what you mean by “exclusive,” but we let everyone in the party.
I was the chick in the yellow dress, so if you see me walking down the street, feel free to punch me in the arm to make up for your disappointment. Just tell me who you are so I don’t get paranoid.
Thanks for the explanation- understandable. No need for punching.
Great party ladies!
Everyone I interacted with seemed happy to celebrate Literago and I hope party goers are sporting their Literago buttons.
AND the DJs my goodness!
they. were. fabulous!
