The Academy of American Poets has re-launched their National Poetry Map. It includes events, poetic histories, and featured poets on a state by state basis. The Illinois page currently features Carl Sandburg, Gwendolyn Brooks, and Li Young Lee, one of my top-5 favorite poets of all time. You can listen to his poem “The Hour and What Is Dead” on his page.
